Doris L. Haney, age 69, of Ardmore, Pa. passed away Tuesday Morning, February 9, 2010, at Bryn Mawr Hospital.
Born March 12, 1941 in Louisville, Kentucky to Helen Eddy and Lewis Armes. She grew up in Ridley, Pa., graduating from Ridley High School. She attended Villanova University and DeVry University. She was employed by NCO Financial.
Doris was active in Haverford Township politics working with the Republican Party. She was also a member of the Red Hats.
She was also an avid reader.
Doris is the wife of Wayne Haney and the late Lewis B. Hodges. Mother of Karen Danley (Russell) and Steven Hodges, grandmother of Morgan Allgrove-Hodges and sister of Barbara Kathleen Hand (John) and the late Alberta Gibbons & Earl Krauss.
Family and friends may call 6:00 to 8:00 PM Sunday and after 9:00 AM Monday in the Funeral Home of John Stretch, 236 E. Eagle Rd, Havertown. Funeral Service will follow at 10:00 AM. Interment is in Edgewood Memorial Park.
