Catherine A. Loughlin, age 88, formerly of Ardmore and Havertown died Thursday February 11, 2010.
Born March 24, 1921 in Bryn Mawr, Pa. to Mary McKay and Patrick Loughlin. She graduated from Haverford High School.
For 34 years she worked in the Deli Department of A & P Food Stores in their Wayne and Wynnewood locations. After retiring from the A & P she worked at Mrs. McKenna's Irish Shop in Ardmore and Havertown.
Miss Loughlin was an active parishioner at St. Denis Church for over 40 years.
In her spare time she loved to travel.
She was predeceased by her 5 siblings; Mary Butler, Joseph, Eugene, John & Edward Loughlin. She is survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call after 9:30 AM Thursday, February 18, in the Funeral Home of John Stretch, 236 E. Eagle Rd, Havertown. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 AM in St. Denis Church, Havertown. Interment is in St. Denis Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude's Research Hospital for Children, 501 St. Jude's Place, Memphis, TN 38105
